Facility Reservations

This Library offers its Learning Commons and other areas for the use of lectures. All users and groups are required to make an advance reservation. Please see below for the details. Moreover, for holding exhibitions and special displays, please confirm the library’s facilities for exhibitions and special displays policy to have more information.

Learning Commons, Multi-purpose Hall, Global Commons Shinryo areas

The library provides spaces where you can concentrate in a quiet environment, as well as areas where you can study while conversing freely with your peers.
In the main library’s Learning Commons, Multi-purpose Hall, and Global Commons Shinryo areas, you can feel free to have conversations and have easy access to library materials, making these areas ideal for active learning activities such as group work and presentations.
These three areas are basically open for use at any time, but they can also be reserved for classes, study sessions, and events.

2. How to reserve an area (use of some areas have now resumed)

You can either reserve individual or multiple areas.

（１）Learning Commons, Multi-purpose Hall
Please read the usage regulations and submit the reservation form seven days in advance to the section in charge, shown below.

★When you make a reservation, you must appoint a representative and a responsible party.

• Eligible representative: University of the Ryukyus students (including graduate students) and faculty and staff (including Emeritus professors)
• Eligible responsible party: University of the Ryukyus faculty and staff (including Emeritus professors)
  If the appointed representative is a faculty or staff (including Emeritus professors) of University of the Ryukyus, they may also serve as the responsible party.
