Baptist Kindergarten in Naha

The Church Missionary Society withdrew its work from Loo Choo in 1906, leaving the work to the Methodists and Baptists. A specially interesting feature of the Baptist work has been the kindergarten in Naha carried on by Japanese teachers under the direction of Mrs. R. A. Thompson of Kobe. These are the teachers and one of the recent graduating classes.
那覇のバプティスト教会幼稚園
キリスト教伝道協会は、その仕事をメソジスト教会やバプティスト教会に託して、1906年に琉球から撤退しました。バプティスト教会の行ったことで特別興味深いのは、神戸のR・A・トンプソン夫人の指導のもと、日本人教師たちによって運営された那覇の幼稚園でした。この写真はその教師たちと最近卒園したクラスの一つです。
