About BIDOM
The Okinawa-related literature information database was constructed for the purpose of searching mainly on information on various literature such as papers and books on Okinawa that are not covered by existing databases.
An enormous amount of literature can be searched for in existing literature databases such as CiNii, but there are many papers and publications that are distributed in a narrow range within Okinawa Prefecture, and many materials related to Okinawa research are available. It is also true that some catalog information is difficult to find.
Also, research on Okinawa is being carried out overseas, but it is not easy to search for information on these documents.
This database was constructed to comprehensively collect literature information on Ryukyu and Okinawa both inside and outside the prefecture including our university.
We would like to ask for the cooperation of many institutes, organizations, and individuals in the future in order to improve the content and make it a comprehensive database that can be utilized by researchers all over the world including local people.
- Search for documents that match the characters entered in the free word input field based on the information (title, author name, publisher, publication name). If you separate with a space character, AND search will be performed only within the item.
- The detailed search page can be searched by title, publication name, author, editor, publisher, keyword, year of publication (AD), ISSN, ISBN.
- It cannot be displayed when the number of search hits exceeds 10,000. Please refine your search.
